Pepper Soup

Homemade Nigerian Pepper Soup

Ingredients

  • Onions
  • Goat meat
  • Scotch bonnet peppers
  • Extra-dried chili peppers or Cameroon pepper
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Knorr seasoning
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Wash goat meat with salt and water. Put the meat in a deep soup pan, cover with water and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
  • In the meanwhile, blend bonnet peppers, garlic and ginger. Put aside.
  • Chop half an onion and add to the steaming meat. Shortly after, add the blend purée as well. Stir to mix ingredients together. Add Knorr seasoning to taste. Add the chili peppers or Cameroon pepper to taste.
  • Cover the soup and allow it cook for 20-25 minutes on high heat.
  • Serve your soup. Enjoy!
